2 of the best Pumpkin carving ideas that won us the local Halloween competition |
Pumpkin carving ideas for Halloween to make your pumpkin stand out this year
Every year we look for new Pumpkin Carving ideas to keep our 2 kids occupied. After searching online for 'pumpkin carving ideas' - we found a couple of pumpkin carving ideas that we really liked, and then added our own creative twist on these. At the Halloween Party at our local pub - they had a competition for the best pumpkin carving and we won 1st and 2nd place with pumpkin carving ideas 1 and 2 featured below.
Here's some more photos of our pumpkin carving ideas - feel free to copy it or add your little twist.
PUMPKIN CARVING IDEA #1
|
This is our favourite pumpkin carving idea that won the pub competition for the best pumpkin - we had a little orange fruit lying around so decided to paint this up to look like a mini-pumpkin being eaten - if you can actually get hold of a mini-pumpkin - even better! |
PUMPKIN CARVING IDEA #2
|
When you are carving out the mouth of the pumpkin on this idea - we thought it would be cool to keep the pumpkin cut-out as use it for the tongue! |
PUMPKIN CARVING IDEA #3
|
Adding extras to your pumpkin is a great way to get creative - such as making this pumpkin smoke an acorn! Or it could be a carrot! Whatever you have lying around! The key is to add your own unique ideas and give it a unique twist |
PUMPKIN CARVING IDEA #4
|
Sometimes your pumpkin has other things going on with it that you can make use of if you just think outside the box a little bit - like turning it on it's side and making a nose out of its stem! |
PUMPKIN CARVING IDEA #5
|
Here's another creative pumpkin carving idea - which uses tooth picks for teeth. The natural 'wrath' pumpkin skin adds another nice little touch! |
