These luxury lodges where an idyllic place to stay in South-West Scotland |
A review of Pond Lodges at Barstobrick, South-west Scotland
On planning a road-trip in South-West Scotland we where struggling to find good quality accommodation and then eventually found these amazing little lodges at Barstobrick called Pond Lodges. They are very high-quality, look great with excellent interior design choices and all you need feature wise for a short-break - and surprisingly a really good price! They are also in a lovely location and the views out of the window of the Scottish countryside are incredible. They are pretty much perfect and I would happily recommend them. See below for some pics of our lodge.

Inside is tastefully decorated with comfy beds and they are very light & airy and toasty warm. |
The large hot walk in showers where very much appreciated after a days walking |
The kitchenette is small but very adequate for a self-catering holiday with it's modern built in oven, sink and fridge-freezer and all the pots and pans you'll need |
How's that for a view from your bed on a morning from these lovely lodges |
I love the design of Pod Lodges and I've not come across better compact lodges. One day it's a dream of mine to have my own lodge out in the middle of nowhere and they would be based on these lodges without a doubt! You've got to dream haven't you :-) |
